Grimes County Commissioners Court held a public hearing Sept. 3 on a proposed replat in West Magnolia Forest Subdivision, Section 22, Lot 8 in Precinct 4. Sean King, development coordinator, said a realtor who bought the full lot intends to divide it into two one-acre parcels.
King told the court the site has public water, he had contacted environmental staff, and that existing septic and setbacks were reviewed. "It does have public water, and I have also contacted environmental. We've looked at all the setbacks, and it meets all the setbacks as far as septic that is already in place," King said. Commissioner Cox confirmed he had visited with King and reported no issues with the proposal in his precinct.
Judge Underwood opened the floor for public comment; none was offered. The hearing record does not show formal action on the replat during this session.
