During a Sept. 3 public hearing, Grimes County development coordinator Sean King described a proposed replat in The Cedars Section 2, Block 2, involving Lots 3, 4 and 5 in Precinct 2.
King said two residents who own the adjacent lots purchased Lot 4 jointly and are dividing it “down the bridal,” creating two separate parcels to be renamed Lot 3A and Lot 5A. King told the court the proposal complies with county regulations.
Judge Underwood asked for public comment; no speakers came forward to protest the replat. The transcript records no formal objection and no final vote on the replat during the hearing.
