County committee confirms Isaac Rowlett to Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission

Kyle Ashley, director of community outreach for County Executive Crowley, presented the nomination and described Rowlett’s work since joining Milwaukee County in May 2019, including “nested strategic plans” and a public-facing strategy dashboard. Rowlett told the committee he looks forward to exploring regional service delivery and “wherever there’s ability to enhance public transportation and transportation in general across the region.”
Supervisor Martinez moved to approve the appointment. The clerk called the roll and recorded five ayes and zero noes; the motion prevailed. No committee member raised objections during the discussion.
The committee’s recommendation now goes to the county board for final confirmation, per the process the committee follows for appointments to regional bodies.
