Grayson County Commissioners Court on Sept. 2 approved a series of interlocal agreements and associated resolutions under Texas Government Code Section 791.014 with the City of Southmayd to contract road repairs in several precincts.
The items approved covered roadwork in multiple precincts and on a range of streets. The court approved interlocal agreements for repairs on Bandanna Scribe, Stetson Street and Wrangler Street (Precinct 3009); Donnie Street (Precinct 3010); Aaron Street, Deaver Street, Elementary Street, Pine Ridge and Willow Ridge (Precinct 3011); Fossil Street and Windy Street (Precinct 3012); and related resolutions authorizing the associated interlocal contracts.
Each interlocal agreement and each resolution was moved and seconded by commissioners and carried by a unanimous voice vote. The court cited Texas Government Code Section 791.014 during the agenda items authorizing associated interlocal contract agreements.
No contract dollar amounts or detailed repair scopes were read into the public record during the motions; the court approved the agreements as presented on the consent/agenda items.
The court scheduled no additional public comment on the road items during the meeting and proceeded to other agenda items after the votes.
