Monifa Cains said the first tiny home will be located in Henderson and organizers hope to place the next three in North Las Vegas next year. She asked to submit application materials and specifications for commission records and said the program is intended to serve veterans who are unhoused or otherwise in need; discharge statuses such as honorable or other-than-honorable will be considered case by case.
Commissioners did not discuss the project substantively under the public forum rules and noted that, if the commission wanted to act, the item should be agendized for a future meeting.
