District to host levy information sessions; early voting to begin Sept. 19

Superintendent Bauman briefed the board on an informational campaign about the Lakeville Area Schools capital-projects levy renewal the community will vote on this fall.
Bauman said the district has created a web page with details (isd194.org/levy-renewal), frequently asked questions and informational videos. The district will mail a postcard to residents with meeting information. Two public information meetings were announced: Tuesday, Sept. 16 (5 p.m., location on the district web page) and Monday, Oct. 13 (6 p.m., Lakeville South High School).
Bauman said the district will continue to share information via family, staff and community newsletters and social media. He provided a contact for questions: levyrenewalinfo@isd194.org and a phone number (952) 232-2096. Early voting for the election was scheduled to begin Sept. 19 and election day is Nov. 4.
