Lakeville district reports $15.1 million in summer facilities work; kitchens, safety upgrades highlighted

Lucas Yoho, the district—s executive director of operations, told the Lakeville Area School Board on Aug. 26 that facilities and operations work to prepare for the 2025—6 school year focused on repairs, safety, technology and accessibility.
Yoho said the district executed 51 projects across 15 buildings this summer totaling about $15.1 million. Work included a sewer-line replacement at Cherry View Elementary; mechanical, lighting and HVAC improvements at multiple sites; accessibility and playground updates at six schools; and casework, ceilings, carpet and paint in five schools.
