On Aug. 28 the Cerritos City Council voted to change its regular meeting schedule to the second and fourth Mondays at 7 p.m., effective Jan. 1, 2026. The motion passed 3–2 after extended discussion about staff operations, commission schedules and conflicts with conferences.
