Planning hearing officer postpones variance case for 3385 E. Chevy Chase Drive

The case concerns a standards variance to allow access to a proposed residence from an adjacent site where, Toledo said, the municipal code requires driveways leading to required parking to be located on the same lot as the parking area. Toledo said the item had been continued previously from July 16 to Aug. 13 and again to Aug. 27.
Toledo said, “this case will not be heard today. It is taken off calendar,” and added that the matter will be re-noticed with a new hearing date. She confirmed there were no callers and that no interested person was present in the hearing room when she closed the public hearing.
The hearing officer closed the hearing at 9:36 a.m. The new hearing date and any additional materials or filings were not specified during the session.
