The motion (moved by Mister Cleven, seconded by Mister Manley) passed by roll call: Lund, Flynn, Palmasino, Larson, Cleven, Hodak, Anderson, Manley and Berger voted yes (9-0). - Justin Lille, special-education teacher at Valley Middle School, submitted a resignation effective Aug. 7, 2025. The administration recommended granting Lille release from his 2025-26 contract effective Aug. 7, 2025, with a waiver of liquidated damages under policy D K B B. The board approved the waiver (moved by Mister Anderson, seconded by Mister Larson) by roll-call vote, 9-0.
General fund financial statement: The board approved the general fund financial statement for the period July 1'July 31, 2025. Director of Finance Jay Baumbach said the report covers the first month of the fiscal year and described timing differences in state revenue receipts that make year-over-year percentages volatile for July. The administrative recommendation to approve the statement was moved by Doctor Hodak and seconded by Mister Anderson and passed 9-0 on roll call.
