Englewood schedules $6,537,611 South Broadway Complete Streets contract discussion; community strategy groups to present

Englewood City staff placed consideration of a $6,537,611 contract for the South Broadway Complete Streets construction work on upcoming agendas and scheduled community-led strategy group presentations as part of a study session.

City Manager Sean Lewis and Deputy City Manager Tim Dodd told Mayor Bertram and other attendees at the Aug. 27 mayor–manager meeting that the South Broadway items will appear on several upcoming dates, with community members and local businesses set to present strategy-group recommendations in advance of formal council action. Deputy City Manager Tim Dodd said staff planned a short staff introduction followed by presentations from neighborhood and business strategy groups: "we'll have about a 5 or 10 minute intro, and then we have 8 strategy groups, which will probably be somewhere between 5 to 10 minutes, probably about 5 minutes each," he said.
