Parent urges BVSD to reject reassignment plan moving Gunbarrel students from Crestview and Centennial

Franke said the proposal would move students who have attended Crestview and Centennial into Heatherwood and Platt and described the change as “a band aid” that does not address why families are not attending neighborhood schools. “Removing them from the only scholastic experience they have known only tears them away from their community,” Franke said. She asked the board to “reject this proposal on behalf of the affected kids and families.”
