The Board of County Commissioners acknowledged receipt Tuesday of an annexation impact report submitted by the Town of Palmer Lake for an area identified in the filing as the “County Line annexation” that would accommodate a proposed Buc-ee’s travel center.
Planning staff said the submission met the statutory requirements for an annexation impact report. Justin Kilgore, planning division manager, told the commission the total area involved would be about 41.23 acres (including right-of-way) with approximately 24.77 acres of private property proposed for annexation.
