Commissioners approve resignations, terminations, hires and promotions; salary-board approvals follow

Lebanon County approved a slate of personnel transactions across departments — resignations and terminations, hirings for Emergency Services, Domestic Relations, Information Technology and court staff, and promotions at the jail — and ratified those actions under the salary board.
County commissioners approved personnel transactions reported by the director of human resources, including resignations, terminations, hires and status changes across multiple departments. The salary board subsequently adopted the same transactions.
Human Resources Director Strauss Navy presented the transactions. Resignations and terminations listed included Tawanda Matthews (caseworker I, Children and Youth; rescinded offer of employment noted), Brian Coomer (court officer, resignation effective Aug. 18), Henry Spitler (casual operations technician, Department of Emergency Services; termination effective Aug. 6), Paige Hess (full-time correctional officer, resignation effective Aug. 12), Christopher Miller (full-time correctional officer, termination effective Aug. 18), Jessica Piles (collections clerk, Information Services; resignation effective Aug. 22), and Jessica Marks (clerk typist A, Sheriff’s Office; termination effective Aug. 6). Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the resignations and terminations by voice vote.
Status changes and promotions approved included Franklin (change from substitute meals transporter to part-time meals transporter, Area Agency on Aging, effective Sept. 1) and Stanley Smith Jr. (promotion from full-time correctional officer / lance corporal to corporal at the jail at $33.53 per hour, effective Aug. 17). Additional hires approved included Dawn Zetorski (casual part-time operations technician, Department of Emergency Services, $13.31/hour, effective Aug. 25), Catherine Seen (administrative assistant to domestic relations, $1,333.67 biweekly, effective Aug. 25), Kamal Duttal (network technician, Information Technology Services, $2,139.50 weekly, effective Aug. 25) and Sherry Vaney (rehire as casual part-time court clerk, $14.31/hour, effective Aug. 26).
A motion to adopt the same transactions under the salary board was made and approved by voice vote. Commissioners did not provide roll-call tallies in the transcript.
The hires, promotions and rehires were assigned to the relevant departments for onboarding and payroll processing; Human Resources noted payroll reductions and tax-claim undistributed balances but said final payroll figures would post later.
