A Rutherford County board approved a special-exception Thursday to allow an existing detached structure at 3090 Hals Hill Pike to be used for noncommercial personal storage, resolving a zoning enforcement case.
Planning staff told the board that Application 20 25 4 covers a 5.5-acre parcel with two existing structures measuring about 1,000 and 870 square feet, a horse ring and that the property owner plans chickens, livestock, a garden and possibly honey bees. The structures were placed on the property and at least one had been used for storage by a former tenant, staff said.
