The board also reported that the discretionary operating rate (0.748 mills) and the capital outlay rate (1.5 mills) did not change. The proposed millage rates and tentative budget were advertised in the Herald Advocate on July 24, 2025.
No members of the public addressed the board on the proposed millage rates or items within the tentative budget when the chair opened the floor for public comment. The board moved through three formal agenda items and recorded unanimous votes for each.
