Mitch said the board scored highest in policy work and committee use, and lowest on regularly revisiting vision, mission and goals: “Because you only have 1 meeting per year that you actually talk about the vision, mission, and goals,” he said, the district should schedule time to “revisit and reaffirm” them and consider a formal five-year strategic planning process.
