Erie EAC urges mayor and administration not to attend Shell InSight conference

A subcommittee will also contact state and federal representatives to request they not attend. The motion to approve the EAC letter for Matthew to send, as amended to include the mayor’s administration, carried by voice vote; members recorded an “Aye” with no roll-call breakdown recorded in the transcript.
The council characterized the letter as advisory and within the EAC’s role to advise the city on environmental issues.
