The Broadwater County Planning Board on Tuesday recommended approval with conditions of the preliminary plat for the Logan Minor subdivision, following staff updates that added a well location, an access point and a depiction of an irrigation ditch whose width was not defined.
Planning staff distributed amended copies of the preliminary plat and told the board the well is shown along the parcel’s eastern boundary and identified in the legend. The plat also displays the access point and driveway branching off Confederate Gulch Road. Planning staff said the irrigation ditch’s trajectory is shown but its width is not labeled because it is an undefined width in available records.
A planning board member summarized the next action before the board and moved for a recommendation. “I recommend approval with conditions,” the board member said. Another member seconded the motion. The board approved the recommendation by voice vote; no opposed votes were recorded on the transcript.
Board discussion focused on whether the previously requested items had been added to the preliminary plat; planning staff confirmed the additions and explained why the ditch width was omitted. The board did not record additional conditions in the meeting transcript beyond a general recommendation of approval with conditions.
Earlier in the meeting the board also approved minutes from its July 15 meeting by voice vote.
The board set its next meeting for Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 1 p.m., with a working session planned at the start of the meeting to review amendments to the subdivision regulations and an option to proceed to regular business or review a subdivision application in the second hour if needed.
