El Campo ISD campuses post mixed 2024-25 accountability ratings; board to review trends in September

Administrators reported the following campus scores for the 2024-25 cycle as presented to the board: the high school had an overall score of 90 (A-rated), with student achievement at 87, school progress at 91 and closing-the-gaps at 89. The middle school improved and was reported in the high-to-upper 70s overall; Northside posted an overall score of 85 with closing-the-gaps at 88; Hutchins recorded an overall score in the low 70s with improvements year over year.
Staff and trustees described the ratings as encouraging in areas where scores rose, and said they plan to present detailed campus-by-campus trend reports and improvement strategies at the board's next meeting. "We'll bring you the trends and look at the data in more depth," a district official said. The high school held a public celebration of its ratings the week prior, staff noted.
No formal action items were taken on the accountability data during the meeting; trustees directed staff to return with a deeper analysis and improvement plans.
