The Clearfield County Board of Commissioners on July 8 approved several routine and programmatic actions, including hiring an appraiser for a joint tax appeal involving the DuBois Mall, authorizing the county's participation in the Pennsylvania State Food Purchase Program, advertising bids for bridge scour protection, and renewing a slate of child‑welfare purchase‑of‑service agreements.

The board, chaired at the meeting by the county chair (name not specified), opened the meeting by noting Commissioner Glass was excused. "He is excused.
