The Cedar Hill City Council on Sept. 2 unanimously adopted five ordinances approving five‑year service plans and fiscal-year-2026 budgets for Public Improvement District (PID) Number 1 (High Point), PID Number 2 (Waterford Oaks), PID Number 3 (Winding Hollow), PID Number 4 (Windsor Park) and PID Number 5 (Cedar Crest).
The ordinances, each read and voted individually, accept the PIDs’ five-year plans, adopt annual budgets and direct recording of final assessments to the tax rolls. Each vote carried 6-0. The measures fund neighborhood services such as speed signs, increased police patrols, mailbox standardization, park and wall repairs, and other beautification and safety projects.
PID board members and residents addressed the council during public hearings. Princess Banks, vice president of the High Point PID, said the board had focused on neighborhood appearance and events: “I am now serving as the vice president of the High Point PID…One of the major accomplishments that we did start was the mailbox project where we are in the process of aligning all our mailboxes to one color, one standard mailbox.”
