Daggett County approves Esri parcel fabric setup; contractor to provide on-call GIS support

Daggett County commissioners approved an agreement with Jones & DeMille Engineering to build the county’s Esri parcel fabric and provide ongoing GIS support as needed.

County staff said the parcel fabric will store parcel geometry and versioned records tied to the Public Land Survey System so the county can track splits and changes over time. Cordell (county staff) told the board that Joseph Hill had quoted a one-time amount to create the parcel fabric; during discussion staff and contractor representatives cited a setup figure of $4,500. Jones & DeMille representatives said ongoing assistance would be available on an hourly basis rather than as a retainer.
