Overland Park council directs staff to advance new flag design; formal adoption set for Sept. 8

Grammer said the work incorporated community designs and feedback and that the branding team consulted external groups. The councils direction at the Aug. 18 meeting authorizes staff to finalize materials for the Sept. 8 adoption vote; no formal ordinance or final adoption occurred on Aug. 18.
The council did not record a roll-call vote on the direction at the Aug. 18 meeting; the committee decision was relayed by council leadership during the meeting.
