Commissioners also approved a motion to hire Tyson Freeman as a seasonal mower at the pay scale listed as 3D ($13.1238 per hour) pending preemployment checks, including a drug test and physical. The motion was moved, seconded and approved with an oral “aye” vote.
Other routine actions approved without roll‑call tallies in the record included approval of the previous meeting’s minutes, approval of claims totaling $112,778.79 and approval of ad/abatement items that included a refund of $29.26. Commissioners also approved the meeting agenda with an edit to add longevity requests to the agenda.
