Commission Chair Lisa Clark opened the public hearing on the replat, and planning staff recommended deferral because, "due to a technical error, notification requirement were not met," a staff member told the commission during the presentation. The commission then voted to defer the item to allow time to meet notice requirements and for further review.
Why it matters: Residents said the replat — which staff described as creating an unrestricted reserve — could enable future warehouse construction and an extension of Rankin Road into their neighborhood.
