Council approves KickingBird Golf parking expansion and well refurbishment from course reserves

Sorenson said the course operates with roughly $3.5 million in revenue and about $3.2 million in expenses and has used reserves for projects that fall outside annual operating budgets. He told the council that a March 2025 request had estimated $80,000 to refurbish two wells; an invoice received in May showed $77,000 for one well, prompting the need to fund a single refurbishment now.
Council members thanked staff and moved to approve the items. The motion to approve the projects and pay from KickingBird Golf reserves carried without dissent.
