"It's crazy how much water came in in such short time," Roberts said in describing the inflow spike. He told the board the lake is "near full" and that the authority is "in great shape" regarding storage.
Roberts also said the authority focuses on reservoir levels for drought planning and that, despite statewide drought designations that may persist, the agency’s operational outlook is currently stable. The board did not adopt any new drought restrictions or emergency curtailments at the meeting, and staff reported no anticipated disruptions to water delivery tied to the short-term improvement in storage.
