Ramsey County board approves administrative items including grant pool and new internal auditor positions

Commissioner Moran moved to approve administrative item 4 (unclassified limited-duration grant pool) and administrative item 5 (salary scheduling grade for new classified positions: internal auditor and internal auditor senior). The motion was seconded; the board approved both items by roll call.
The board also voted to adopt the meeting agenda for Aug. 12 and to approve the minutes of the Aug. 5 meeting; both motions passed by unanimous roll call.
Roll-call votes recorded at the meeting show unanimous "Aye" votes from the following commissioners: Moran; Zhong; Jevan Singh; McGuire; McMurtry; Miller; and Ortega. The board did not record any "No," "Abstain" or "Recused" votes for these motions.
The administrative actions place temporary grant-funded positions under an unclassified limited-duration pool and set pay-grade scheduling for two classified internal-auditor roles; the board did not provide salary figures or hiring authorizations during the motion. Commissioners did not add policy changes or amendments to these items at the time of the vote.
