The board approved eight transportation consent items, including multiple right-of-way authorizations and agreements to acquire platted right of way for intersections and an interchange.

Parks: Commissioner Reiner said the parks committee reported $5,694.23 in donations designated to parks accounts and natural-resources management, including a $5,000 donation from Mary Ruzin dedicated to natural resources management and smaller donations to the Orono (sic) Nature Center and park services. The board awarded contract C0011770 to Petersen Companies for the Bunker Hills Regional Park boardwalk replacement project in Andover in the amount of $2,094,195 (recorded in the meeting as "2,000,000, $94,195"). The board also approved contract C0011760, an operations and maintenance agreement for stormwater facilities with a local watershed district for Bunker Hills Regional Park. Commissioner Reiner reported department statistics for 2024: 4,300,000 park visitors countywide, 850,000 at Bunker Hills, and 34,000 at Bunker Beach.
Public safety: The board approved contract C0011742, a purchase-of-service agreement with Diamond Drugs Inc. to provide pharmaceuticals for the jail and corrections system. The contract was described as a five-year term effective Aug. 1, 2025 with options for two additional one-year renewals; the change was prompted because the prior provider "wasn't able to provide everything that was necessary," the committee report said. That contract passed by roll call vote.
All consent motions described above were adopted by roll call and were announced in the meeting as unanimous where applicable. Funding sources noted in the transportation items include federal, state, county state aid and local city funds.
