The Mendota Heights City Council on Aug. 20 approved the evening's agenda and unanimously adopted a multi-item consent agenda that included meeting minutes, financial reports, personnel pay matrices and agreements with county and state agencies.
Council members voted to approve the agenda at the start of the meeting after a motion by Councilor Lovrom and a second from Councilor Paper; the motion carried on a voice vote. Later, Councilor Paper moved to adopt the consent agenda and Councilor Loebrebaum seconded; the motion carried on a voice vote.
Items listed on the consent agenda and shown as approved were: approval of minutes from the Aug. 6, 2025 city council meeting; acknowledgment of the June financial report; adoption of the 2025–2026 seasonal compensation pay matrix; Resolution 2025-51, a joint powers agreement with the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Financial Crimes Task Force; Resolution 2025-52, a joint powers agreement with Dakota County for an embedded social worker for social services; award of a professional services contract for the Cherry Hill Pond improvements; the June 2025 treasurer's report; and approval of the claims list. The agenda reading listed the items as A through I; councilors carried the package with no item pulled for separate discussion.
