Consultant: Pennridge facilities need roughly $202 million over 10 years, district to prioritize safety, HVAC and athletics

Consultants from ICS delivered a facilities assessment to the Pennridge School District facilities committee on Aug. 18, summarizing six months of building inspections, staff interviews and data analysis and showing an approximate $202 million package of potential projects over a 10‑year horizon.

The consultants said the district’s total portfolio replacement value is roughly $810 million under current market assumptions and cited industry guidance (1.5–3.0 percent of replacement value per year) that would equate to roughly $12 million to $24 million annually. ICS recommended the district target the lower end of that range as a realistic planning figure and use CIP360 software to maintain a living capital plan.
