Iowa Environmental Council and partners propose 4 Mile Creek restoration, outdoor classroom at North Polk property

The project would install stream-restoration features such as rock cross-veils and limestone entry points, repair eroded creek access and plant native prairie on the hillside adjacent to the district property to improve water quality, reduce erosion and create hands-on science learning space for district classes.
