County manager: one position likely to be re-recruited; criminal-justice hire in final interview stages

He said the criminal-justice position is “working its way through the recruitment process” and that the county is in the final stages of interviews for that role; no offer has been made.
Commissioners asked whether multiple rounds of interviews had occurred; the manager confirmed there had been more than one round and that candidates remain under consideration. Commissioners noted sensitivity around internal applicants and asked staff to keep the board informed as the process progresses.
No appointments or offers were announced at the meeting.
