Thurston County commissioners authorized the county manager on Aug. 6 to use climate mitigation funds for the Ralph Monroe Memorial trail project in an amount not to exceed $11,280.
County staff said the funding would cover supplies and other enhancements and that Public Works would contribute in‑kind services such as mowing. The motion on the record was: “Moved to authorize the county manager to expand climate mitigation funds for the Ralph Monroe Memorial project for an amount not to exceed $11,280.” The motion was seconded; the clerk called the vote and commissioners answered “Aye.” The motion carried unanimously.
