Tehachapi honors police chief, finance department; chamber and market managers highlight fall events

In public comment, Claire Scott of the Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce thanked the council for partnering on Mountain Festival and other downtown events, calling the collaboration essential to the event—s success. "This is a tradition in our town, and we're very excited," Scott said, describing vendors, music and family-friendly amenities.
Market manager Jessica Garner also spoke, calling the farmers market "a huge team effort" and thanking multiple city departments and volunteers for support. Council and staff emphasized market attendance and that only two market dates remained in the season.
