The staff presentation said the amendment would be accomplished by a resolution amending Ordinance 252780 and Tehachapi Municipal Code Section 12.10.030. Community engagement staff summarized the request and asked the council to approve the resolution. "We need to update it a little bit to show a few new dates," the staff member said during the presentation.
Council members voted in favor: Council member Chung, Council member Davies, Mayor Pro Tem Power and the mayor (vote recorded as 4-0). The motion and second were made from the council dais; neither the mover nor the seconder was named on the public transcript.
The amendment applies only to the city—s predesignated downtown entertainment zone and the dates listed; it does not change any other portions of the municipal code or grant permanent changes to alcohol regulations beyond the specified event dates.
