Oswego EDC updates: several new downtown and corridor tenants coming; Danelle's property sold

Kevin said Taco Dolly Cantina expected to open within a couple of weeks and that Bay 54 had just begun the permitting process and was targeting a late-fall or early-winter opening.
On Route 71 at Plainfield Road and Washington, staff reported ongoing site work for a Dunkin' drive-through (transcript: "Duncan"); staff said the developer targeted an end-of-year opening for that site. A tenant described as a "mystery grocery store" was reported as likely to open by year-end; the developer had not publicly named that tenant and staff said the village had not been formally notified of the tenant’s name.
Terry Anderson (EDC member) reported that Danelle's property has been sold and that village staff and the leasing broker are pursuing prospective restaurant operators. Anderson said the purchaser intended to market the restaurant space to operators and that the village has provided leads to assist leasing.
Commissioners and staff also outlined near-term openings at Orchard Road (Woody's Wings targeting September and Scooter's thereafter) and additional retail space adjacent to the mystery grocery store that is actively being marketed.
Commissioners asked staff to keep the EDC informed as tenants finalize build-outs and set grand-opening dates. Staff noted that the Crumble Cookie tenant had completed interior demolition and was working on build-out, and that other sites were in various permitting or site-work stages.
Clarifying details: staff emphasized that some opening dates were targets and contingent on build-out and permitting progress; one grocery tenant remained unnamed and village staff said they had not received formal notice of the identity.
