The board recognized Imagination Print Design, founded and owned by Kelly Rice, as the Economic Development Commission’s Business of the Month for July 2025.
The Village Board recognized Imagination Print Design as the Economic Development Commission’s Business of the Month for July 2025 during its Aug. 4 meeting.
President Kauffman and trustees invited Imagination’s owner, Kelly Rice, and Economic Development Commissioners to the front to accept the honor. Staff noted Imagination Print Design was founded in 2005, became full-time in July 2010, moved into a brick-and-mortar location in 2015, and purchased 68 Main Street in 2019. The business currently employs nine people.
Trustees praised Rice’s community involvement; staff said Rice has served on the chamber and downtown boards, is a member of the Oswego Foundation for Educational Excellence and fundraising chair for the Oswego Junior Women's Club, and through the business helped raise over $500,000 for local schools and nonprofits via Imagination’s online store. Rice accepted the recognition and thanked the community and her team.
Ending The board offered congratulations and applause to Imagination Print Design for its community contributions and fifteenth anniversary as a brick-and-mortar business in Oswego.
