Meeting discussion indicated the district had donated the wrong vehicle (color and unit number were cited) and members voted to correct the record so the intended unit is the one recorded for donation. The board voted to rescind the prior surplus declaration from the Feb. 24 meeting and to make the corrective surplus declaration during the July 28 session.
Separately, the board approved declaring a 2019 Ford F-550 (listed under “Kentwood”) surplus and authorized advertising it for sale.
The district’s finance report — described by staff as “in line with the budget” for the first six months of the year — was also approved by the board.
