The Board of Public Utilities for the City of Santa Rosa unanimously approved the consent calendar, including an amendment to extend the city's contract with Liz Tech International.
Jim Dunbar, general manager for Liz Tech International, spoke at the meeting in support of the contract amendment, saying the company appreciated “the ongoing work that we've done with the city” and noting that “the city of Santa Rosa was our very first customer 9 and a half years ago when we opened up our facility in Solano County.” Dunbar also thanked city staff he works with, naming Mike Prince, Zach Kaye and Don Marlette.
The board moved and seconded approval of the consent calendar; a roll-call vote recorded the measure as passing unanimously with Board Member Wright, Board Member DeWitt, Board Member Bartholow and Chair Galvin voting yes and three members absent. The board’s secretary noted the consent calendar contained three items; the meeting record did not specify further contract amendment details such as the extension term or dollar value.
No public opposition to the consent calendar was recorded during the meeting.
