Delaware County Board adopts series of budget amendments, program acceptances and local law; schedules CDBG CARES hearing

The Delaware County Board of Supervisors approved a slate of resolutions at its meeting, including budget amendments, program acceptances, administrative actions and a local law.

Notable actions recorded in the meeting minutes include acceptance of grants and budget amendments for law enforcement technology and public-health programs; transfer of funds for the Department of Public Works; acceptance of a SNAP-Ed food-box distribution pilot grant for the Office for the Aging; authorization for Department of Public Works contract lettings; inclusion of agriculturally viable parcels into certified agricultural districts during the annual review period; and the adoption of a county local law known as the False Alarm Reduction Act.

Most measures were adopted without extended debate. Several items were decided by roll call votes in which all responding supervisors signaled approval and several others were carried by voice vote.
