Superintendent says Mount Olive schools ready for fall; freshman orientation sees large RSVP

The superintendent of the Mount Olive Township School District told the board that schools are ready to welcome students for the coming school year, citing work on district facilities and staff preparation. "I really have a brief, report in that schools are getting ready to welcome students back, you know, this September," the superintendent said.
The superintendent asked trustees and community members to check emails for ongoing information as the district prepares to start school and noted an anticipated large turnout for freshman orientation next week. "Please check your emails as so much information is coming out, as we prepare for the start of school. And I know we have freshman orientation coming up next week, and we have a large RSVP, anticipated participation," the superintendent said.
Board administrative comments were brief. Board member Mr. Rizzolo mentioned a local fundraiser planned for Sunday: "the minority fire OTC are going to have a fundraiser at the Marta Verne this Sunday," and described it as a trivia night.
The board then moved on to routine agenda items and adjourned after completing business.
