The city’s fraud hotline received 29 reports since going live on Sept. 23, 2024. The fraud committee meets monthly and the Audit Office expects to publish an annual high‑level summary while coordinating with the city attorney on what can be released publicly.
Joe Throneberry, senior forensic auditor, reported to the Audit Oversight Committee on July 21, 2025, that the City of Las Vegas fraud hotline has received 29 reports since it launched on Sept. 23, 2024. The hotline accepts reports 24/7 via phone, mobile device and online and supports English, Spanish and Tagalog.
