Revere Board approves minutes, financials, personnel items and amended student settlement

The Revere Board of Education on Aug. 19 unanimously approved a package of routine business items including minutes, the July financial report, purchase orders, personnel actions and an amended student settlement.

Board members moved and seconded multiple consent motions during the meeting’s business portion. Board member Verdin proposed taking the listed items under Roman numeral 8 as a group; the board then approved them by roll call with all members voting yes. Later, Superintendent White asked that items under Roman numeral 9 (1a through 1g) be treated as one consent item; the board moved, seconded and approved that package by roll call.

Actions recorded in the meeting transcript include approval of meeting minutes, a financial report for July, routine purchase orders, substitute and long-term substitute assignments, salary listings, co-curricular supplemental contracts, mentor-mentee assignments, a listed settlement and additional personnel items (resignations, new hires, changes in hours, student auditorium workers).
