Ambridge board approves personnel items, club and facility contracts, property transactions in combined votes

At its Sept. 10 meeting the board approved a slate of personnel actions, club/activity sponsorship changes, technology and vendor agreements and several finance items as laid out in the agenda consent items; one item drew a recorded abstention and one negative vote.
The Ambridge Area School District Board of School Directors on Sept. 10 approved a series of consent and non-voting agenda items including personnel hires and resignations, activity and coaching assignments, technology purchases and several finance and property items during roll-call votes.
The board adopted agenda items in two motions. Earlier in the meeting a motion to adopt agenda items 1 and 2 was moved by Mrs. Kehoe and carried on a roll call. Later the board approved a consolidated set of personnel and administrative items (described below) in a combined vote. During the combined personnel vote a board member registered an abstention on a single item and another member cast a recorded no vote on that same item; otherwise the package carried.
