Hoffman said staff submitted a grant application to Texas Parks and Wildlife on Aug. 1 to seek improvements to Water Tower Park and that the parks department maintains an annual maintenance budget line of $15,000 for sprinkler parts, mower maintenance, seed and similar supplies.
