The McMinnville City Council approved a slate of resolutions authorizing purchases and contracts across several city departments and advanced two ordinances on first reading at the regular meeting.
Resolutions approved by roll call included: - Resolution 2025-24: Purchase 36 self-contained breathing apparatus facepieces with voice amplifiers from Siddons & Martin for $36,030 for the McMinnville City Fire Department. (Passed by roll call.) - Resolution 2025-25: Purchase Precor cardio equipment via SourceWell contract and Direct Fitness Solutions quote for $41,647 for Parks & Recreation. (Passed by roll call.) - Resolution 2025-26: Enter a contract with New South Creative for $25,501 for the tourism and marketing department (TTT coop program). (Passed by roll call.) - Resolution 2025-27: Enter an agreement with TripAdvisor for $25,000 for the tourism and marketing department. (Passed by roll call.) - Resolution 2025-28: Purchase a CAT 307.5 mini excavator from Stowers CAT for $117,689.05 for the McMinnville Water & Wastewater Department. (Passed by roll call.) - Resolution 2025-29: Purchase a Grundfos triplex alternating control panel for $64,833 for the Water & Wastewater Department. (Passed by roll call.)
The council also advanced two ordinances on first reading: ordinance 2025-16 (declare dirt at 200 Bell Street surplus) and ordinance 2025-17 (first reading of the nonprofit appropriations ordinance totaling $487,870 for FY 2025–26). Both moved forward after roll-call votes.
