The district said the new‑to‑district queue contains 75 students who have started but not finished registration paperwork, often because records releases or documentation are pending; staff are contacting families and prior schools for records requests.
The district reported 640 kindergarteners registered, with an expectation of an additional 100 to 180 kindergarten registrations in coming weeks. At the preschool level, 454 students were registered and screened and another 130 were registered but awaiting documentation or screening appointments.
Staff said registration work will intensify as building office staff return and the district plans device‑assisted registration opportunities at upcoming back‑to‑school events. Committee members thanked staff for outreach efforts and emphasized support for families needing technical assistance.
