Healthy Petaluma offers free community speaker series on youth and technology; district asked to help publicize

The events will be free, offered both in person and by Zoom, and will include translation, child care and light refreshments. Faith asked schools to help publicize the program “not once, not twice, not three, maybe four times,” saying the district’s direct communications are the most effective way to reach families.
The board acknowledged the program as timely given concerns about student screen time and social media.
